The Volunteer Friendly Award

We involve volunteers because they are motivated, have fun helping and tell us it lets them give something back to the community. Volunteers are crucial to Brae.

Mary Sneddon, Centre Manager,

We are delighted to announce that the Volunteer Centres in Perth & Kinross, Angus and Stirling are now licensed to deliver the Volunteer Friendly award across their local areas.

This means that local groups working with volunteers in these areas can now undertake the award.  We are keen to see who will be the first to take up this opportunity and we wonder who will be the first to complete it and celebrate by receiving the award.   As soon as we know we will be only too pleased to add this information to our website.

Another 3 centres are very close to completing their licensing too, so if you are waiting for your chance to try out Volunteer Friendly keep watching this space, or contact us directly to let us know you are interested and we will let you know when it will be available in your area.
